What is the typical lead time?
Standard configurations ship in 2 to 3 weeks. Custom builds run 4 to 6 weeks depending on complexity. Rush builds are available with a surcharge when our schedule allows.
Can MixStand build a custom configuration?
Yes. Every product can be modified for non-standard widths, monitor counts, rack-unit counts, and finish. Send dimensions and a photo of the room and we will quote a custom build.
What materials do you use?
Solid hardwoods (maple, walnut, cherry, oak), hardwood plywood with veneer, powder-coated steel hardware, and food-grade finishes. No MDF or particle board on load-bearing surfaces.
How does shipping work?
Standard freight ships fully crated for residential or commercial delivery. Lift-gate service available. Local Chicago white-glove delivery and assembly available within 90 miles for a flat fee.
What is the warranty?
Lifetime warranty on the wood structure. One-year warranty on hardware (slides, hinges, casters). Damage from drops, water, or modifications voids the warranty.
Do you accept returns?
Standard configurations: 30-day return for refund minus return shipping. Custom builds: non-returnable. We send shop drawings before fabrication so you can confirm the spec.
Are you related to Mixmastered Studios or Acoustic Sound Panels?
Yes. MixStand is part of the Mixmastered family of operations companies. Mixmastered Studios runs the recording rooms; Acoustic Sound Panels supplies the acoustic treatment; MixStand builds the furniture.
Where is MixStand based?
Chicago, IL. All builds are crafted in-house at our Chicago workshop. We ship across the United States and Canada.
